Delivery Rates and Services

All orders are hand-packed with love and shipped using Canada Post. You can expect a shipped notification email 1 - 3 business days from your order date.  You can consult the table below for the different shipping options we offer.

Keep in mind that once your order has been shipped, it is in the care of the postal service. We are not liable for any mistakes (including, but not limited to, delivery delays or lost parcels) made by these services. 

 

CUSTOMS, TAXES, AND DUTIES

Customers outside Canada may also be required to pay for any customs and import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other fees upon arrival to your country.  These fees are not part of our shipping costs and are the responsibility of the customer.  In some instances, customs can cause delays in delivery.

 

Returns & Exchanges

If you'd like to return or exchange an item, email orders@thecatmelon.com to start the return process.  Keep in mind that:

  • Returns and exchanges will not be accepted unless you have contacted us first
  • Upon receiving your order, you have 21 days to send back your items
  • Sale items are non-returnable
  • Merchandise cannot be washed or worn
  • Merchandise must be in the original condition it was sent in
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable
  • We cannot be held liable if your return/exchange items are lost
  • International duties and taxes are non-refundable

We do not offer cash refunds, but we can issue a store credit for the full purchase price of the returned item(s) once they have been received.  You will be notified by email when The Cat Melon has received and processed your return/exchange.  Please allow 7-14 business days for your return/exchange to be processed. Issued store credit will not expire.

 

FAULTY ITEM?

Because of the handmade nature of our products, all of our items may vary slightly from the online photos.  A ton of effort is made to make sure that all items meet our expectations before we ship them out.  However, if you feel like you got something that wasn't quite right, feel free to email hello@thecatmelon.com and we'll work at making things right.
